skincare essentials
Hiiiii…I know I’ve said this before, and if history is any indication, I will probably say it again. But I’m back. I won’t bore you with how busy life has been and how this blog is not even remotely near the back burner.
Anyway, 2025 is the year of the glow up for me. I’m finally making all the changes to be the best version of myself both inside and out. And since we are 6 months is, I feel like I can confidently say that these changes are part of my routine.
Today I am talking all about the skincare changes I’ve made.
Below are my essentials:

1. Ice roller. I do this every morning and night. I have a few of these but this particular amazon is my favorite. It just fits the face so well.
2. Sunscreen. I have researched sunscreen to ad nauseam. This women-owned, Australian company is it. The Australian version of the FDA is TGA and they have very strict rules and regulations.
3. Cleanser. I am a double cleanser girly (as by should be too). This BYOMA one is a gentle oil based cleanser that works perfectly fine and is at a great price point.
4. Toner. I use this at night after I cleanse. I’ve been using this for years. Helps with dark spots.
5. Mouth tape. I have to admit, my hubby stated mouth taping loooong before me and I made fun of him. He convinced me to try it and now I’m hooked (he uses regular old tape, I had to mine cute) TSC is perfect with the little slit. On nights I forget to do it, I definitely notice a difference in my sleep (my whoop tells me, so its not just in my head). Also pretty sure this is helping to snatch my jaw.
6. I am a rhode stan. I was originally using just the toner and barrier cream. One time, I need to reorder both and noticed that if I got the set, I would get a free bag (and I’m a sucker for free stuff). I’m so happy I did it. Love the products. Gentle, great price point, lasts a long time.
7. Eye masks. These are the amazon version of a gold mask that we all know. These work just as good as those and a fraction of the cost.
8. Facial roller. I use this twice a day (after I use toner) and it just feels amazing. Helps with lymphatic drainage, reduces puffiness, and helps snatch that jaw line.
9. Face masks. I love these collagen masks. You can wear over night if you want (I usually go a few hours)
10. Red Light. We got this panel for our bathroom. I turn in on every morning and night during my skincare routine. We all know the benefits of RLT.
11. Vitamin C. This goes on daily after toner. My esthetician recommended good molecules. I trust whatever she says!
